A little too much Phuket sun? It happens to almost everyone. Our Aftersun Massage is a cool, gentle hour designed for skin that feels hot, tight and thirsty after a day on Bangtao, Layan or Surin beach, or out on a boat. A firm massage is the last thing sun-warmed skin wants. So we do the opposite. Your therapist uses soothing aloe vera with slow, soft, gliding strokes and very light pressure, letting it sink in until your skin feels calm and comfortable again. What to expect • cooling aloe vera smoothed over the back, shoulders, arms and legs – the places the sun finds first • light, unhurried strokes that soothe without rubbing • skin that feels cooler, softer and deeply hydrated • a quiet, air-conditioned private room and an hour out of the sun You will love it if your shoulders have turned pink, your skin feels tight and dry after sea and sun, you have children or a partner waiting to go back to the beach tomorrow and want to be comfortable, or you would simply like a very light, calming massage on a hot day. Make it a recovery ritual For the face, add our Aloe Vera Facial Treatment (75 minutes). For all-over hydration, our Aloe Vera Hydrating Gel Body Wrap cocoons the whole body in aloe vera, cucumber, lavender and chamomile. Good to know Come the same day or the day after sun exposure for the most comfort. Aftersun Massage is for mild sunburn and sun-tired skin; if you have blisters, broken skin or a fever, or feel unwell, please see a doctor first. Hot Stone and deep-pressure massages are best saved for when your skin has recovered.
