Forty-five minutes here will show you how much tension they have been quietly holding. Our Hand Massage is really a hand, arm and shoulder treatment. Each arm receives around twenty minutes of unhurried attention with oil, from the shoulder all the way down to the fingertips, and the session closes with a few minutes for the neck, shoulders and head. How your session unfolds • Forearm. Your therapist follows three lines along the forearm – inner, middle and outer – releasing the muscles that work every time you grip or type. • Upper arm and elbow. Long strokes up towards the shoulder, with careful work around the elbow. • Wrist and hand. Gentle wrist rotations, the back of the hand, then the palm, where thumbs press slowly into every tired spot. • Fingers. Each finger is worked joint by joint, right to the tip. • To finish. A hot towel at the neck and a seated press through the neck and shoulders, so the whole upper body lets go.
