Our Aroma Therapy Oil Massage is the gentlest way to switch off in Phuket – long, flowing strokes with warm, naturally scented oil in the privacy of your own massage room. This is the massage we recommend to anyone who does not enjoy strong pressure, and to first-timers who are not sure what to expect. Nothing is forced. Your therapist works in slow, continuous movements – gliding strokes, figure-of-eight sweeps and soft kneading – from the legs to the back, shoulders, arms and hands, and finishes with a soothing head massage and a warm towel at the neck. Scent does the rest: aroma travels straight to the part of the brain that handles emotion and memory, which is why the right oil can begin to calm you before the massage has even started. Choose your mood Our Thai-made massage oils blend nourishing plant oils and vitamin E with pure essential oils: • Lavender & Chamomile – with bergamot; the classic choice to quieten a busy mind before sleep. • Rosewood & Cedarwood – warm, woody and balancing when you feel worn out. • Rice for Life – Thai jasmine rice bran oil with jasmine, rosemary, peppermint and frankincense; rich and nourishing for dry skin. • Champaca – a deep, exotic floral and the most romantic of our scents. • Spring – lemongrass, rosemary and geranium; fresh and energising. • Rejuvenate – grapefruit, ylang ylang and lavender; uplifting after a long journey.
